Gifu Prefecture is approved for a “Foreign Entrepreneurial Promotion Implementation Group” by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (MITI)’s Foreign Entrepreneurial Activities Promotion Project.

Based on this approval, Gifu Prefecture issues special activity visa for foreign people.

This visa is different from that of the Immigration Bureau.

Those entrepreneurs in Gifu Prefecture are able to stay for preparations up to a year by utilizing this system.

岐阜ぎふ県けんは、経済けいざい産業さんぎょう省しょうの外国がいこく人じん起業きぎょう活動かつどう促進そくしん事業じぎょうで「外国人起業促進実施じっし団体だんたい」として認定にんていをされました。

この認定にもとづき、岐阜県は外国人に独自どくじビザを発給はっきゅうします。

このビザは出しゅつ入国にゅうこく在留ざいりゅう管理かんり局きょくが発給するものとはちがいます。

岐阜県内ないで起業を目指めざす外国人は、この制度せいどを利用りようすることで、最長さいちょう1年いちねん間かん、起業準備じゅんびのため日本にほんに在留することができます。

Gifu Prefecture Data　岐阜県のデータ

Gifu Prefecture, 10,621㎢, is in the center of Japan and is the seventh largest prefecture surrounded by seven prefectures. According the latest census, the population is 2,031,903 (Male:983,850, Female:1,048,053) which is 1.6% of the whole Japanese population. The population older than 65 is 567,57, occupies 28.1% within the prefecture.

岐阜県は日本のほぼ中央ちゅうおうにあります。面積めんせきはだいたい10,621㎢です。岐阜県は日本で第だい7位なないの広ひろさで、7つの県けんに囲かこまれた数少かずすくない内陸ないりく県のです。
岐阜県の人口は、もっとも最近さいきんの国勢こくせい調査ちょうさ（2015年10月1日現在げんざい）では2,031,903人（男おとこ983,850人、女おんな1,048,053人）で、日本の総そう人口の1.6％です。人口の多おおさは日本で17位です。またこの県の65歳さい以上いじょうの人口は567,571人で、人口の28.1%（日本では26.6%）です。

Natural environment　岐阜県の自然環境

The northern Gifu district, Hida, is dominated by 3000 meter high mountains, mainly Ontakesan, Norikuratake, and Okuhotakatake. Whereas the southern district, Mino, has the Kiso Three Rivers, consisting of Kiso, Nagara, and Ibi river, and especially the midstream of Ibi river is chosen as a Japan’s 100 remarkable water. Due to the 3,000 meter-difference in elevation, the average temperature varies in the region. So, Gifu-city is about 15. 8℃, and that of Takayama-city, the northern part, is 11.0℃. In addition, there are various kinds of animals and plants.

岐阜県北部ほくぶの飛騨ひだ地域ちいきは、御嶽おんたけ山さん、乗鞍のりくら岳たけ、奥おく穂高ほたか岳たけなど、高たかさ3000ｍをこえる山々やまやまが連つらなっています。一方いっぽう、南部なんぶの美濃みの地域は濃尾のうび平野へいやに木曽きそ三川さんせん木（木曽川がわ、長良ながら川、揖斐いび川）が流ながれ、とくにに長良川中ちゅう流域りゅういきは「日本の名水めいすい＜とくにきれいな水みず＞百選ひゃくせん＜TOP100＞」にえらばれるほど美うつくしい川かわです。
岐阜県は海うみの水面すいめんからの高たかさ0ｍの平野へいやから3,000メートルをこえる飛騨山脈さんみゃく<山が連なっているところ＞など標高ひょうこう＜海の水面からの高さ＞の差さが激はげしいです。激しい標高差のため岐阜市の平年へいねん気温きおん＜ふつうの年としの気温＞が15.8℃、北部の高山たかやま市の平年気温は11.0℃というように、気候きこうも地域によって差があります。
このような複雑ふくざつな地形ちけいや気候きこうの影響えいきょうを受けて、県内にはさまざまな種類しゅるいの動物どうぶつや植物しょくぶつがいます。

Industry 岐阜県の産業さんぎょう

In Gifu prefecture, various agricultural products are produced throughout the year according to the local natural conditions. In the flat land in the southwestern part of Gifu Prefecture, rice cultivation is actively carried out by making use of the warm climate. In addition, in the mountainous to high cold areas of Chuno, Tono and Hida areas, vegetables such as summer autumn tomato, spinach and summer radish are popular, taking advantage of the cool summer climate. And, using the mountains, beef cattle and dairy cattle are also raised. In addition, in the fishery industry, fishery in rivers with a focus on moth fishing, and aquaculture such as rainbow trout and amago are central.
Each Gifu district grows crops with making the best use of local climate through the year. The southern west district plain, a warm climate, grows mainly rice, whereas those high elevation mountainous regions, Chuno, Tono, and Hida, are cool, so main crops are tomato, spinach, and radish. Cattle is raised with utilizing mountainous area. Moreover, river fishery industry is mainly Ayu fishing, and fish farming.
In addition, Gifu is famous for manufacturing for long years, and 25 % of Gifu population involves in the manufacturing industry which is 6th largest amount of population (16% of Japanese population). The industry includes textile, Japanese ceramics, furniture, wooden product, knife, paper, plastic, and food.

岐阜県各地かくち＜それぞれの地域＞では、1年を通つうじて、地域の自然条件じょうけんによってさまざまな農産のうさん物ぶつがつくられています。岐阜県南西なんせい部の平地では、暖あたたかかい気候なので、稲作いなさく＜米こめをつくること＞が多くされています。また、中濃ちゅうのう、東濃とうのう、飛騨地域の山の多い地域から標高の高い涼すずしい地域では、夏なつも涼しい気候なので、夏秋なつあきトマト、ほうれんそう、夏大根だいこんなどの野菜やさいが多くつくられています。そして、山を使って、肉用にくよう牛ぎゅう、乳用にゅうよう牛も育そだてらえています。また、水産すいさん業ぎょう＜魚さかなの産業＞では、鮎漁あゆりょう＜鮎という魚をとる産業＞を中心ちゅうしんにした河川かせんでの漁業ぎょぎょう＜魚をとる産業＞や、にじます、あまごなどの養殖ようしょく漁業が中心になっています。
一方、岐阜県では、むかしからものづくりがさかんで、製造せいぞう業＜ものをつくる産業＞は岐阜県の中心的な産業となっています。すべての産業のうち製造業で働はたらく人は25.0%で、日本では6位ろくい（日本すべての中で16.0％）と高たかくなっています。ファッション、陶磁器とうじき＜やきもの、セラミックのこと＞、家具かぐ・木工もっこう＜木きでものをつくる産業＞、刃物はもの、紙かみ、プラスチック、食品しょくひんなどの特色とくしょくある地場じば産業＜地域の産業＞があります。
