COVID-19: The government has issued an emergency declaration throughout Japan.

On April 16, the Japanese government issued an “emergency declaration” for 47 prefectures.

Special attention is given to Tokyo, Osaka, Hyogo, Chiba, Saitama, Kanagawa, Fukuoka, Hokkaido, Ibaraki, Ishikawa, Gifu and Aichi prefectures.

To prevent COVID-19 infection, each prefecture calls on its residents not to go out except for the reasons necessary to maintain their livelihood.

With these declarations, many restaurants and shops are closed, closed at supermarkets and earlier than usual.

In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection, the Japanese government is demanding that the public reduce their contact with other people by 80%.
